The dispatch response interval is defined as the time that an incident is created in the computer aided dispatch (CAD) system through receipt of call until the time that an appropriate response vehicle is assigned to the incident. The dashboards below show average daily 911 call volume and the percent of 911 calls answered within 10 seconds from 2007 to present as well as dispatch interval times for the rolling year. Users can toggle through Code 2 and Code 3 (defined as non-life-threatening and life-threatening, respectively) calls and average and 90th percentile times.
